
Richard Weinapple is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher at the Intermediate Junior I level. He has practiced yoga since 1974, has taught since 1988, and has studied extensively at the California Yoga Center with Elise Miller and Larry Hatlett. He's a graduate of the 500-hour Advanced Studies / Teacher Training Program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco, and is fortunate to have studied with Geeta Iyengar in Pune, India in 2014. Richard current serves on the Board of Directors of the Iyengar Yoga Association of Northern California. He also continues to study with Marla Apt and Jito Yumibe at Iyengar Yoga South Bay. He's committed to making yoga accessible, beneficial and enjoyable for everyone -- no matter one's age or physical condition. Richard is also an ardent mountaineer and wilderness guide.
